Participate
DFFUSA 2014 wants to allow participation from as many pilots with diabetes as possible. In support of this
goal, it has been planned so that a wide variety of aircraft can participate. We are planning this flight around airspeeds of
airplanes in the Cessna Skyhawk to Piper Arrow class to enable renter pilots and those with more common airplanes to more easily
participate.
Our plan is to meet at the prepare at Council Bluffs, Iowa (KCBF) near the flight's starting point of Lincoln Airport (KLNK) in Lincoln, Nebraska.
After the formation flight from Lincoln, Nebraska to (KLNK) to Iowa City, Iowa (KIOW) on June 28th, participants will be able return home on their
own schedules.
If you are a pilot with diabetes who is interested in participating in the flight, please contact us
for more information. Even if you don't have a current medical, but are interested in participating, let us know as
there may be opportunities for co-piloting and extra sets of eyes are always helpful during formation work.
